Welcome to the artwork of Maria Coletsis. Primarily using photography,
Maria is an artist who also incorporates in her diverse works: painting,
digital media and computer installations. She has exhibited her work in
galleries around the world (see bio) and has been selected to participate
in many of the Artropolis art exhibitions in Vancouver, Canada. The
various galleries on this website also feature her media work done for
international magazines, newspapers and book covers. Her artwork has been
profiled on CBC Radio 3 webzine, featured artist in Bolz magazine UK and
is currently part of London’s AOP group exhibition touring England. |

Working
from Vancouver, Maria continues to investigate and photograph sub culture
themes. She is currently working on a photo book project which explores the
identities of the world’s professional Dominatrixes. To do so, Maria has
recently traveled to interview and photograph Mistresses in Berlin, Paris,
Hong Kong and Tokyo. Maria’s Mistress photographs have been featured in UK
magazine
Bolz,
Skin Two magazine and appear on many Pro Dom websites.
Germany's
Marquis magazine featured Maria's
interviews and portraits from
London’s annual Rubber Ball. Her inquiry into
London’s fetish scene has resulted in her providing most of the photos for a
newly developed website dedicated to the Hood Lovers community. The images on this site are available for sale
